Copper Princesses Ready for Ethiopia World Cup Qualifier

The Zambia Under-17 Women’s National Team has entered the second week of its training camp as preparations intensify for Saturday’s crucial first-leg final round qualifier for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup against Ethiopia.

Head coach Carol Kanyemba and her technical bench have fully settled in Ndola, where the Copper Princesses are fine-tuning their preparations ahead of the decisive encounter.

A positive result at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium will be vital before Zambia travels to Addis Ababa for the return leg as the Copper Princesses bid to secure another appearance at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Final Preparations Underway

With just days remaining before kick-off, the technical team has stepped up preparations, focusing on tactical organisation, fitness and team cohesion.

The players have been working hard in camp as Zambia aims to maintain its impressive record at youth level and secure a third consecutive qualification to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
