Clive Biyeta Excited to Extend His Stay at Mufulira Wanderers
Mufulira Wanderers Football Club is thrilled to announce that Clive Biyeta has signed a two-year contract extension, securing his stay at the club until June 30, 2027. Biyeta, who was the club’s top scorer last season with 8 goals and 6 assists, becomes the seventh player to reaffirm his commitment to the team, highlighting the board’s dedication to retaining key talent.
In a statement expressing his excitement, Biyeta said, “I am very happy to continue my journey at ‘MAITE’. I’m not going anywhere and I have never thought of leaving this great club until I achieve my full potential as a striker and bring trophies to Mufulira Wanderers Football Club.”
He also extended his gratitude to the fans, saying, “To my wonderful fans, thank you for your unwavering support. Please continue believing in me and my teammates. Your love drives us. With God on my side, I promise to give my best in the upcoming seasons.”
Biyeta’s exceptional performance in the 2022/2023 National Division 1, where he was the top scorer with 22 goals and 8 assists, played a pivotal role in Mufulira Wanderers’ promotion to the Super League. His commitment to the club and determination to excel are expected to be key factors in the team’s success in the upcoming seasons.
The club, proud of Biyeta’s decision, issued a statement via the Mufulira Wanderers Football Club Media Team, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute significantly to the team’s future achievements.
