
Chipolopolo Boys’ 2023 AFCON Fixtures Announced
The upcoming TotalEnergies Cote d’Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will see the Zambian national team, the Chipolopolo Boys, face a challenging set of fixtures. Zambia has been placed in Group F alongside Morocco, DR Congo, and Tanzania.
The journey begins for Zambia with a match against their neighbors, DR Congo, on January 17, 2024, with the kick-off at 22:00hrs Zambian time. On matchday two, Zambia will once again go up against their neighbors, Tanzania, on January 21, 2024, with the match starting at 19:00hrs Zambian time. The final group match will be a stern test against Group F favorites, Morocco, on January 24, 2024, with kick-off at 22:00hrs Zambian time.

The tournament is set to unfold in six venues across Cote d’Ivoire, including two stadiums in Abidjan, and newly constructed facilities in Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro.
As the competition progresses, the top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to the knock-out stage, alongside the best four third-placed teams. The grand finale of the tournament will be hosted at Abidjan’s illustrious Alassane Ouattara Stadium, with a seating capacity of 65,000. Here, the new African champions will be crowned on February 11, 2024.
