Barbara Banda to miss Turkish Cup

Zambia Copper Queens Team coach Bruce Mwape has named his 32-member preliminary squad for the Turkish Women’s Cup to be staged in Alanya this month.

The coach has recalled in-form Hellen Chanda who makes her after last featuring for the senior women’s team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games (played in 2021)..

Zambia will be using this Turkish Cup as part of preparation for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which kicks off in July.The Senior women’s national team are in Group C alongside Spain, CostaRica and Japan.
