AIME MABIKA TO BE PART OF CHIPOLOPOLO RECOVERY PROCESS
New America based Zambià National Soccer Team Defender Aime MABIKA has revealed that not the miracle man but he believes he will be part of the Chipolopolo Recovery process as they look forward to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in Six years.
“I wouldn’t say so much that I am a solution to the team. I don’t think one or two players will take us exactly to the mountain top but I think it can help us accelerate the process. That’s why we are here,” Mabika said.
Right now it is a process. We have targets, we have goals, and we have got to work hard to hit those targets,” Mabika
“Finding players outside the borders can certainly help and from myself, I don’t see myself as a one-man-plug-in who can change everything.
“But I can certainly help and I think I can bring something of value to the team and hopefully with that, I think we can build and build.”
Born In Lusaka from Congolese Parents and moved to USA at the of 8, Mabika was handed his Maiden Chipolopolo Call up by Head Coach Aljosa Asanovic and had a descent full shift for Zambià who edged Congo Brazzaville 3-1 in a friendly match on Friday in turkey.
