NAPSA Stars climb to fifth on the table after a 2-1 win over Zesco United

NAPSA Stars have moved to fifth on the table of the  MTN FAZ Super League after beating Zesco United 2-1 this afternoon,

NAPSA Stars took an early lead when  newly signed striker Augustine Mulenga found the back of the net  in the 3rd minute netting his first goal for his new club the with a  long range strike.

Zesco United  hope was restored when they managed to level the scores in the 19th minute through  Vincent Oburu.

The match went at the break with the scores level and this mean that the two teams had alot to play for in the second half .

The host restored the lead in the 59th minute through Musonda Kapembwa who converted from the spot kick after Kelvin Kampamba brought down Gift Zulu in the box.

The goal by Musonda Kapembwa was the match winner and both teams finished with 10 men on the pitch as  Daniel Adoko and Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba were both sent off for fighting.

Zesco United loss means that the Ndola based giants have now failed to win any of their last five games in all Competitions. The last win for the Ndola based outfit came on 11th September at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, 2-1 over Lumwana Radiants.
