Zambia U15 Girls and Boys Crowned CAF African Schools Football Champions

Zambia has reaffirmed its status as a rising powerhouse in youth football after both the Under-15 Girls and Boys national teams clinched the CAF African Schools Football Championship COSAFA Qualifiers 2025 titles. In a thrilling double triumph, the young Copper Queens defeated South Africa to lift the girls’ crown, while the boys’ team edged the same opponents 2–1 to seal their championship victory.
The achievement marks a historic moment for Zambian youth football, showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and determination at the regional level. With both teams emerging victorious, Zambia will now proudly represent the COSAFA region at the continental stage of the CAF African Schools Football Championship.
