UNFORTUNATELY, NO…. UNLESS CAF BREAK THE EVER STRINGENT FOOTBALL RULES…..
Would I want Barbra, Kundananji and Nachula to join? Yes I would like that to happen but sadly in football we have very stringent rules.
There is a window in which you can make amends to the squad, between the last submission day and the first game in the tournament if there is say serious injury to a player.
Who submitted Chipolopolo Queens squad? FAZ. FAZ submitted a list of players with a jersey number against each name as per requirement in football.
Was Barbra in the squad that FAZ submitted to CAF? A big NO. Kundananji and Nachula were not part of the squad submitted to CAF by FAZ. (FAZ has linked their decision to what their understanding was with regard to CAF rules)
Current status – FAZ appealed to CAF and FIFA for possible inclusion of the trio yesterday, Friday, 8th July, 2022. FAZ awaiting CAF /FIFA responses.
