U-20 COACH CONSIDERS MBESUMA’S SON(15)FOR AFCON
Former national team Collins Mbesuma’s son Lineker aged 15 is among foreign- based players that under-20 national team coach Chisi Mbewe is considering for the 2023 Egypt Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mbewe said in an interview after a morning training session at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka yesterday that Lineker has been doing well in South Africa.
The 15-year-old Lineker, who is also a striker, is currently playing academy football in South Africa with Warriors Football Club.
“We are considering a number of foreign-based players and one of them is [Lineker] Mbesuma. We have heard about him, we want to assess him.
