Saidi’s Debut Impresses as Creck SC Hold Kamuzu Barracks in TNM Super League Clash

New interim head coach Harry Saidi guided Creck Sporting Club to a hard-fought draw against Kamuzu Barracks, earning a valuable point in their TNM Super League Week 8 encounter at Aubrey Dimba Stadium.

Taking charge for the first time following the suspension of senior technical staff, Saidi saw his side put in a determined performance, holding Kamuzu Barracks to a 0-0 stalemate in a match that highlighted grit, discipline, and renewed purpose.

Coming off a narrow defeat last weekend, expectations were modest for Creck SC, but the team rose to the challenge under their new coach. The defense, led confidently by Akuzike Lifa and Miracle Gabeya, weathered sustained pressure from the visitors, while Hardy Ng’andu — who was named Man of the Match — controlled the midfield with composure and energy.

“The boys gave their all,” said Saidi after the match. “We may not have won, but we stood firm and played with purpose. I’m proud of the effort. This is something we can build on.”

Both sides had their chances, but in the end, defenses stood tall in what has now become a pattern between these two teams — this result marks the third consecutive draw in league meetings between Creck SC and Kamuzu Barracks.

The point will feel like a small victory for Saidi, whose debut has already shown signs of steadying a previously unsettled ship. For Kamuzu Barracks, it was another missed opportunity to capitalize and climb higher on the table.
