Peter Banda, the Malawis national football team attacking midfielder has bid farewell to the ranks of Tanzanian football powerhouse Simba Sport Club. The departure, marked by a mutual agreement has been confirmed by both Simba FC and Peter
Despite possessing a contract with Simba that had one and a half years left to run, the decision for Banda to move on was confirmed by his manager, Mayamiko Mwinjiro. The specifics behind this mutual agreement remain undisclosed, shrouding the circumstances of the separation in a veil of mystery. Nonetheless, Banda’s manager has assured that the details of his client’s next venture are poised to be unveiled in the near future.
Amidst this departure, reports have begun circulating, shedding light on potential pathways that Banda’s career might embark upon. One particular narrative gains prominence as whispers echo about a potential homecoming to European football. Allegedly, a club based in Ukraine has thrown its hat into the ring, expressing a strong desire to enlist Banda’s talents within their ranks.
Banda’s football journey has been full of changes. He started with Griffin Young Stars in 2017, then tried out for Orlando Pirates in 2018. In 2019, he chose Big Bullets FC instead.
