Mason Greenwood's future at Manchester United still hanging in limbo

Greenwood has been suspended by Manchester United for the last 18 months following his arrest in January 2022, with the player unable to play for the club or even train with his team-mates at Carrington

The player’s charges of attempted rape and assault were dropped at the start of February but the club has been doing its own internal investigation on the matter ever since.

Meanwhile Manchester United announced that they are expected to announce their decision regarding Mason Greenwood’s future at the club before the first game of the season on August 14th 2023.

Mason Greenwood’s last appearance for United came in a 1-0 win over West Ham on January 22, 2022. He has been at United since the age of six and progressed through the academy into the first-team, making his first senior start in.
