Lumwana Radiants Welcome Bilton Musonda as Head Coach for the Season
Faz National League outfit Lumwana Radiants has officially introduced Bilton Musonda as their head coach for the remainder of the season. The unveiling comes after the completion of formalities, solidifying a deal that brings experience and expertise to the coaching staff.
Musonda, a familiar figure in Zambian football, returns to Northwestern Province to take the helm at Lumwana Radiants. His last stint at the club was seven months ago, and his re-appointment marks a strategic move for the team. Having previously served as the head coach for Green Buffaloes, Musonda resigned from Lumwana Radiants in April after a two-year tenure.
Assisting Musonda in his coaching responsibilities is Allan Kamwanga, who assumes the role of the first Assistant Coach. Together, they aim to guide Lumwana Radiants to further success in the National Division One League.

Musonda’s coaching prowess was instrumental in Lumwana Radiants’ National Division One League triumph during the 2021/22 season. As the team currently sits second on the league table with 24 points from 14 matches, the coaching duo steps in to fill the void left by Lameck Banda and Bupe Chewe, who recently departed to join Super League side Prison Leopards.
With Lumwana Radiants positioning themselves as contenders in the league, the coaching team’s collective experience and strategic approach aim to propel the team to new heights in the upcoming fixtures.
