Kings Kangwa Continues Red-Hot Form in Israel
Chipolopolo star midfielder Kings Kangwa continued his impressive form in the Israeli Premier League as he delivered another stellar performance for Hapoel Be’er Sheva, scoring a goal and assisting another in a 5-1 demolition of Kiryat Shmona. The result solidifies Be’er Sheva’s position at the summit of the Israeli top-flight standings.
The match started with Dan Bitton opening the scoring for Be’er Sheva just five minutes into the game. Kangwa showcased his versatility and vision in the 32nd minute, assisting Helder Lopes for the second goal of the match. He didn’t stop there, turning from provider to scorer by finding the back of the net just six minutes later, putting his team 3-0 up in the 38th minute.
As Be’er Sheva continued to dominate, Arnold Garita netted the fourth goal of the match in stoppage time of the first half, sending his team into the break with a commanding lead. However, the second half brought a bit of drama when Niv Eliasi was sent off in the 70th minute, reducing Be’er Sheva to 10 men.
Kiryat Shmona briefly capitalized on their numerical advantage, earning a penalty in the 76th minute. Panama striker Christian Martinez converted it, pulling one goal back. Yet, Be’er Sheva responded swiftly, with Alan Turgeman restoring the four-goal cushion just before full-time, sealing an emphatic 5-1 victory.
This result takes Hapoel Be’er Sheva to 33 points, maintaining their position at the top of the Israeli Premier League table. Kings Kangwa’s contribution has been pivotal to the team’s success this season. With 5 goals and 5 assists in 14 matches, Kangwa is on a three-match goal-scoring streak, demonstrating his consistency and growing influence on the pitch.
