FAZ Kickstarts U15 & U17 Provincial Trials, Receives Morocco U15 Invitation
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has embarked on an ambitious initiative to strengthen its youth football development program with the launch of provincial trials for the U15 and U17 age groups. This proactive step underscores FAZ’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting grassroots football across the nation.
In a bid to identify promising players, FAZ has deployed independent youth football selectors to all ten provinces of Zambia. These selectors will be tasked with scouting young talents born in 2008 and 2009, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their skills and potential.
Selected players from the provincial trials will have the honor of representing Zambia in upcoming tournaments, including the highly anticipated Double Confrontation (2009) Morocco Invitational Tournament. This platform not only offers young footballers the chance to compete at a national level but also serves as a valuable developmental opportunity.
In a significant development, FAZ has received an invitation to participate in the prestigious Morocco U15 Invitational Tournament. This invitation, extended to players born in 2009, presents an exciting opportunity for Zambian youth to showcase their talent on the international stage.
Participation in the Talent Development Scheme (TDS) Morocco Invitation tournament not only highlights the growing recognition of Zambian football but also promotes cultural exchange and international cooperation in the sport. It provides a platform for young Zambian talents to compete against their peers from around the world while fostering camaraderie and mutual respect.
FAZ’s proactive approach to youth football development reflects its dedication to nurturing the next generation of football stars. By providing young players with access to structured training programs, competitive opportunities, and international exposure, FAZ aims to lay the foundation for sustainable success in Zambian football.
The launch of provincial trials for the U15 and U17 age groups, coupled with the invitation to the Morocco U15 Invitational Tournament, represents a significant milestone in FAZ’s youth football development efforts. As Zambia continues to invest in its young talents, the future of Zambian football looks brighter than ever.
