Elijah Tana Says Nkana Are Mentally Ready for Konkola Blades Encounter

Nkana FC head coach Elijah Tana says his side are ready for their upcoming fixture against Konkola Blades after completing a positive week of preparations.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Tana expressed satisfaction with the team’s work on the training ground, insisting that the players are prepared for the challenge ahead.

“Our preparations went well, so we are ready for Konkola,” Tana stated. “Everyone is ready.”

The coach also highlighted the healthy competition within the squad, revealing that several players are pushing for places as the technical bench considers its options ahead of the match.

Among those selected in the 20-man squad is Francis Bubu Mutalange, who has trained well and earned a place in the matchday selection. His inclusion adds to the competition for places as the technical bench weighs its options ahead of the encounter.

“As you can see, Bubu has trained well, so he is among the 20 players which we’ve selected,” Tana noted. “There’s a headache there because everyone is pushing.”
