It was a golden night for Power Dynamos at the 2024/25 MTN Super League Awards, with the league champions walking away with five major accolades during Friday’s ceremony held at Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe.
Midfield maestro Owen Tembo stole the spotlight after being crowned Player of the Year, beating strong contenders Prince Mumba (Power Dynamos) and Abraham Siankombo (ZESCO United). Tembo’s stellar performances were instrumental in guiding Power Dynamos to their eighth league title.

Power Dynamos’ impressive run in the MTN Super League was further reflected with Oswald Mutapa named Coach of the Year. Mutapa saw off competition from Emmanuel Siwale (ZESCO United) and Mwenya Chipepo (Nkana).

Goalkeeping Excellence and Golden Boot Race
After keeping 12 clean sheets in 20 matches, Power Dynamos shot-stopper Willard Mwanza was named Goalkeeper of the Year, surpassing Toaster Nsabata and Lukas Mainza of Nkwazi.
The Golden Boot was shared between Titus Chansa (Power Dynamos) and Idris Mbombo, with both strikers finishing the season on 13 goals apiece.
