The Tanzanian side had been struggling to find their rhythm in the competition but their fortunes changed when Chama found the back of the net in the first half of their Round 4 fixture against Vipers.
Chama‘s goal was a thing of beauty, a masterclass in precision and skill that left the Ugandan side reeling. It was a moment of pure magic that brought the Simba faithful to their feet, cheering and singing their hero’s praises. And at the heart of it all was Moses Phiri, the unsung hero who had contributed the crucial assist that set Chama up for the perfect shot.
Phiri had been working tirelessly throughout the game, using his pace and intelligence to carve out opportunities for his teammates. And when the chance presented itself, he pounced, threading the perfect pass through the Vipers’ defence and into Chama‘s path. It was a moment of pure instinct and brilliance, a testament to Phiri’s skill and determination.
