Zambia U-23 team arrives in Cairo for crucial AFCON qualifier against Egypt

The Zambia under-23 Men’s National Team has arrived in Cairo ahead of their first leg, final round qualifier against Egypt for the TotalEnergies Morocco 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. The team, led by coach Oswald Mutapa, was warmly received by members of the Zambian mission in Egypt at the Cairo International Airport.

In addition to the team’s current players, two more Europe-based players, Miguel Chaiwa of BSC Young Boys and Mannah Chiwisa of Atalanta, will join the squad today in Cairo. This is a crucial match for both teams as they aim to qualify for the AFCON.
