Sundowns appoint Kennedy mweene goalkeeper coach

Top South Africa side Mamelodi Sundowns Head Coach Rulani Mokwena has confirmed that the Club is preparing to offer 2012 AFCON winning Goalkeeper, Kennedy Mweene a long-term contract as Goalkeeper Head Coach at the Club.

Mokwena further said Mweene will this season serve as Assistant Goalkeeper Coach while been a Back-Up Goalkeeper.This comes after the former Chipolopolo Captain stepped in the shoes of the suspended Goalkeeper Coach during Saturday’s 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates.

The Zambian Top goalkeeper was stripped of his number-one spot by the Ugandan international defender  Dennis Onyango  few years ago.
