Pauline Zulu Returns To Copper Queens Squad

Zambia women’s national team defender Pauline Zulu has made a return to the Copper Queens squad after being named in the 29-member team for the upcoming FIFA Window international friendlies.

Zulu’s inclusion is one of the notable highlights in coach Nora Häuptle’s latest squad announcement as the Copper Queens continue preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and future international assignments.

The defender has been highly rated by many supporters for her composure, strength and leadership qualities at the back, with several fans previously describing her as one of the solutions to Zambia’s defensive struggles in recent tournaments.

Pauline Zulu has steadily grown into one of the promising defenders in Zambian women’s football after impressive performances for both club and country over the past few years. She was part of Zambia’s WAFCON qualification campaigns and has previously spoken about fulfilling her dream of becoming a regular Copper Queens player.
