Nchanga Rangers upset Buildcon, Nkana frustrated by Warriors
Nchanga Rangers were in action today against buildcon in their first match in the Zambian Super League after securing promotion last season from FAZ/Eden University National League One.
There was uncertainty as to whether this fixture would take place this weekend after it was taken off live television broadcast following suspension of Buildcon by the FAZ over a week ago for flouting club licensing rules
Logic Ching’andu scored the only goal of the match as newly promoted Nchanga Rangers beat beleaguered Buildcon.
In other game, Nkana were held to a goalless draw at home to Kabwe Warriors in their opening game of the 2022 – 23 MTN Super League season played at the Nkana Stadium on Sunday.
Nkana failed to dominate the match even as they gained numerical advantage after the visitors had Dominic Chanda sent off by referee Audrick Nkole in the 75th minute.
