Grace Chanda Makes To The Final 3 CAF Woman Of The Year

Shepolopolo Striker Grace Chanda keeps on getting closer to that title that clowns her as top woman in African Football. Grace Chanda captained the Zambian National Team to the first ever FIFA World Cup at the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations totalEnergy WAFCON.

Chanda scored 2 goals and picking up the woman of the match twice in matches between Togo and South Africa respectively. Another category is of the Best coach of the year which coach Bruce Mwape’s got the slot and is competing with Desiree Ellis of south Africa.

The awards will be held on 21st July in Rabat Morocco. However, the fact that the 2 Zambian names made it in the top shortlists, some fans have expressed mixed feelings citing that CAF is consolidating the Zambian side because of the poor officiating of the last match against South Africa.
