Green Buffaloes Women’s FC to battle for K6.3 Million at this years CAF Women’s Champions League

This winners of this years CAF Women’s Champion league will bag a total sum of USD 400 000 which is equivalent to K6.3 Million in Zambian Kwacha.
Zambia’s representative in the competition Green Buffaloes Women‘s Football Club who are the current COSAFA Champions will be among the teams battling for the grand prize.
The Confederation of African Football (“CAF”) took to their official website to announce the prize money structure for the CAF Women’s Champions League, Morocco 2022.
The winners of the competition will take home USD 400 000 (K6.3 Million approximately) while the runners-up will take USD 250 000 (KK3.9 Million approximately)
The two losing semi-finalists will each receive USD 200 000 (K3.1 Million approximately) and all the competing are guaranteed at least K1.5 million which will be given to teams finishing bottom of their group while the third in the group will walk away with approximately K2.3 Million.
The competition will kick-off on 30th October 2022 with the final scheduled for 13th November 2022 and Green Buffaloes Women Football Club were drawn in Group A alongside AS FAR of Morocco, Simba Queens of Tanzania and Determine Girls of Liberia.

Winners: USD 400 000
Runners-up: USD 250 000
Semi-finalists(2) USD 200 000
Third of Group(2) USD 150 000
Fourth of Group(2) USD 100 000
