Chipolopolo Boys forward Fashion Sakala continued his impressive scoring run in the Saudi Pro League, finding the net once again despite Al Fayha’s 2-1 defeat to Al Ittihad.
The Zambian international is enjoying one of his most productive spells of the season, underlining his importance to both club and country.
Sakala struck his sixth goal in seven matches, maintaining a remarkable run of consistency in front of goal. Although Al Fayha fell 2-1 to Al Ittihad, the Zambian forward once again proved to be a reliable attacking outlet.
The goal takes Sakala’s tally to eight league goals this season. Beyond just scoring, he has also contributed creatively, bringing his total goal contributions to ten in the Saudi Pro League campaign so far.
From a performance perspective, Sakala’s recent form suggests growing confidence and sharper attacking instincts. His movement in transition, direct running, and ability to attack spaces behind defensive lines have made him a constant threat in recent weeks.
While results have not always gone Al Fayha’s way, Sakala’s individual output remains a major positive. In a competitive league environment, maintaining such consistency over a seven-match stretch reflects both resilience and tactical adaptation.
For Zambia, this run of form is equally significant. A confident and in-form Sakala strengthens Chipolopolo’s attacking options heading into upcoming international fixtures.
Despite the defeat to Al Ittihad, Fashion Sakala’s upward trajectory continues. Six goals in seven matches is not a streak it is sustained performance.
If he maintains this rhythm, surpassing double figures in league goals looks increasingly realistic. For both Al Fayha and Zambia, his current form could prove decisive in the months ahead
