After securing a win against the Zambian Chipolopolo in the 2023 Hollywood COSAFA Cup, Malawi is set to play against sychelles tomorrow the 9th of July 2023 at 18:00 p.m in Durban.
In the recent interview Malawi’s interim coach Patrick mabedi said he believes that his team has chances to win more games in the tournament despite that 9 of his 25-man Squad are youngsters who are just making their debut into the national team.” We are trying to give this youngsters exposure so that we can have a good team for long” he added
Coach Patrick Mabedi also said that his team is a better team and with the confidence his squad has after their win over Zambia,he will consider resolving their mistakes and design a better game going forward.
Malawi was drown in group B with Comoros, Zambia and Seychelles and After playing against sychelles tomorrow, coach Patrick Mabedi’s team will also face Comoros before heading to the knock out stages while zambia will play against Comoros on the same day.
