The Football Association of Zambia has managed to clinch another international friendly match for the Copper Queens.
The Football Association of Zambia has confirmed that the Zambia Women team will take on South American side Colombia in a friendly next month.
This comes after the much anticipated match against the Netherlands did not take place due to visa challenges.
The Copper Queens are expected to play two matches against Colombia on the 12 and 15 November respectively and all these games are been used as preparations marches for the world cup which will be staged from July 20 to August 20 in 2023.
“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) wishes to inform its members and stakeholders that the Zambia Senior Women’s National Team will play Colombia in Cali next month in FIFA International Friendly matches.”
Colombia is part of Pot 3 and Zambia in Pot 4 ahead of the World Cup draw that will take place on October 22 in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau.
