Mutondo Stars Football Club wishes to inform its supporters and stakeholders that assistant coach Billy Mwanza has left his role at the club to join MTN Super League side Nkwazi FC in the same capacity.
Billy Mwanza joined the club since its inception in 2020 and has been a valuable member of coach Zeddy Saileti‘s technical bench until the club won promotion to the National Division One League at the end of last season.
Club president Everisto thanked Mwanza for his immense contribution to the team and wished him well in his new role.
Kabila said coach Billy’s ascendancy to the Super League was evidence of the club’s immense contribution to football in its three-year history.
“Coach Billy has been a very committed member of our technical bench. He has been a very disciplined and hard working coach since he joined us. But he requested to leave to face another challenge and we couldn’t stop him because we pride ourselves in contributing to the general well-being of the game and we believe coach Billy will carry the Mutondo work ethic where he is going and he will never disappoint. On behalf of the board, we wish him nothing but the best and thanks for all the memories coach,” said Kabila.
Billy Mwanza is is also Zambia Under-17 national team assistant coach.
