Zesco United Secures Alex “Bazo” Ngonga on a Two-Year Deal
Zesco United has made a significant addition to their squad by completing the signing of striker Alex “Bazo” Ngonga. The move, confirmed today, sees Bazo joining the Zambian Premier League side on a free transfer from Lebanese club Tadamon Sour SC.
The 30-year-old striker signed a two-year contract with Zesco United this afternoon in Ndola, marking his return to the ZSL after a brief stint with TP Mazembe in the DR Congo and Tadamon. Bazo has now joined the team in their pre-season camp in Mufulira, eagerly preparing for the upcoming season.
Bazo’s return to the ZSL is a highly anticipated one, as his previous performances in the league have left a lasting impression on fans and pundits alike. With his experience and skill set, Bazo is expected to make a significant impact on Zesco United’s attacking options.
The signing of Bazo signals Zesco United’s intent to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season, and fans will be keen to see how the prolific striker integrates into the team’s setup.
