
Zambia U17 Women’s Team Arrives in Uganda
The Zambia U17 Women’s Team, known as the Copper Princesses, has touched down in Uganda ahead of their crucial second leg 2024 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. With a commanding 2-0 victory in the first leg, the team is gearing up for a decisive match scheduled for Friday at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The journey to Uganda commenced yesterday at 19:00 hours, with the Copper Princesses flying with RwandAir and landing at Entebbe International Airport. Led by Coach Carol Kanyemba, the team is focused and determined as they prepare to face their opponents on the field.
Upon arrival, the priority for the team is to settle in and adapt to their new environment. Training sessions will soon follow, allowing the players to fine-tune their skills and tactics under the guidance of their coaching staff.
