Zambia U-23 off to Liberia ahead of saturday's U23 AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone

The Zambia Under-23 National Team has traveled to Liberia ahead of saturday’s encounter against Sierra Leone.

Zambia will play Sierra Leone on saturday in the first leg of TotalEnergies U23 AFCON to be hosted by next year.

The game will take place in Liberia due to the fact that Sierra Leone does not have a stadium that is certified by CAF to  host international matches.

The second leg will be played on the 29th of October at National Heroes stadium and top three times at the AFCON U23 in Morocco will automatically qualify to the 2023 Olympics.

The 2023 Olympics will take place in Paris France and if  the Zambia U23 qualifiers to the Morocco AFCON will be aiming to finish in the top three so that they can take part in the Olympics.
