
The Zambian Super League Nkwazi Football Club, has unveiled 11 new players for the 2023/2024 season. The Zambia Police sponsored team has strategically secured the services of eleven players who are set to don their colors for the upcoming campaign.
Among the noteworthy additions to their lineup, six players have been acquired on loan from Green Eagles. Spearheading the attacking front is Simon Mulenga, a talented striker who is expected to contribute his skills to team.The midfield has also been bolstered with the inclusion of Susu Mukabanga.
Furthermore, Nkwazi has successfully negotiated loan deals for several other players from Green Eagles. Isaac Ngoma, a promising forward, will be looking to make his mark on the team’s offensive strategies. Defenders Collins Mulenga, Christopher Chola, and Musonda Mupeta have been brought in to fortify the backline and provide a sturdy defensive foundation.
Notably, the club has secured the services of goalkeeper Bradley Mweene and Thomas Banda on permanent deals, underlining their commitment to building a balanced and formidable squad across all positions.
In a bid to infuse additional talent into their ranks, Nkwazi has also managed to secure the services of Joseph Sabobo Banda, a former star of the Zambia U-17 National Team. Banda who has been brought in on a short-term loan from Atletico Lusaka. It is expected that his time with Nkwazi will serve as a valuable stepping stone before he departs for FC Zurich in Switzerland come December.
With their preparations in place, Nkwazi Football Club is set to embark on their journey in the 2023/2024 season. Their campaign will commence with a high-stakes encounter against Konkola Blades, scheduled to take place at the Edwin Imboela Stadium tomorrow at 15:00hrs.
