 
																						
											
											
										MTN Super League side Mufulira Wanderers have announced the appointment of Lameck Banda as their new head coach, with Bupe Chewe joining him as assistant coach. The duo have signed three-year deals with the legendary “Mighty” Cup winners, reinforcing the club’s long-term vision.
Banda and Chewe: A Strong Coaching Partnership
Both Banda and Chewe arrive at Mufulira Wanderers with an impressive track record, having worked together at Lumwana Radiants and FC Leopards. Under Banda’s guidance, FC MUZA finished second in the 2022–2023 Super League season, earning a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup. He also led MUZA to the ABSA Cup final, where they lost to Forest Rangers in a thrilling encounter at Woodlands Stadium.
Prior to this, Banda had successful coaching stints at Lumwana Radiants and Prison Leopards, making him one of the most respected tactical minds in the Zambian top flight.
