Green Buffaloes Women Football Club have emerged as champions of the 2022/23 FAZ Women’s Super League in a dramatic final day of the season.
The league leaders, Red Arrows, were held goalless by BUSA, while the defending champions, Green Buffaloes, secured a narrow 1-0 win over Queens Sport Academy to clinch the title.

With both teams level on points before the final round of fixtures, it was a winner-takes-all situation for the two sides. Green Buffaloes held their nerve, securing a crucial victory thanks to a 41st-minute goal from Maylan Mulenga.
