Nkana Football Club have officially confirmed the return of one of their most beloved sons — Evans “Kalulu” Kangwa. After spending several years abroad in Russia, Israel, Turkey, and most recently Saudi Arabia with Abha FC, the electric winger has finally returned to Kalampa territory.
Kangwa, known for his flair, skill and explosive pace, began his professional journey at Nkana before earning his first international transfer. Over the years, he has featured for clubs such as Hapoel Ra’anana, Arsenal Tula, Neftçi Baku and Abha, building a reputation as one of Zambia’s most technically gifted attackers.
His homecoming comes at a crucial time for Nkana, who are battling inconsistencies in the current MTN Super League campaign. Fans see his return not just as a transfer — but a revival of identity.
“Kalulu is not just a signing; he’s an emotion for Nkana fans,” one supporter wrote online.

✅ Experience at top competitive levels across Europe and Asia
-
✅ Versatility — can play as winger, second striker or attacking midfielder
-
✅ Leadership for younger attackers coming through Nkana’s ranks
-
✅ A morale boost for fans who have been craving star power
As one of the most exciting wingers Zambia has produced in the last decade, Kangwa’s return could be the spark Nkana desperately need.
Welcome home, Kalulu. Kitwe has been waiting.
