
COLLINS MBESUMA HAS BEEN APPOINTED ASSISTANT COACH
Legendary Zambian striker Collins Mbesuma has been appointed Assistant coach at ABC Motsepe club side Pretoria Callies where he served as player coach last season.
“Collins mbesuma “Was named a psl player of the season after scoring a Sensentional number of 35 goals in all competitions during the 2005 season,with such performance he attracted many clubs like Bolton wanderers but didn’t sign him due arminstrative issues and in the process penned a three year contract with Epl side Portsmouth due to the lower ranking of his country his work permit was only issued during the preseason.
it was noted that he appeared overweight while playing for the reserve team,Mbesuma never started for Portsmouth ,he only had four subs to his name in all his time duŕing the 2005/2006 season,in 2007 the Talisman was sent on a seasonal loan deal at Portuguese Cs maritimo where he appeared gaining his form and netted vital goals.
