Cagliari Calcio Renews Kingstone Mutandwa’s Contract Until 2027
Cagliari Calcio is delighted to announce the contract renewal of Kingstone Mutandwa, who has signed a new agreement with the Club extending his stay until 30 June 2027.
Kingstone Mutandwa’s football journey began in Zambia with Atletico Lusaka, where he showcased his goal-scoring prowess. In the 2021-22 season, he topped the third division scorer rankings with 18 goals. The following season, he continued to impress with 16 goals in 22 games in the second division, catching the eye of European scouts.
Career Highlights:
Primavera Debut: Mutandwa joined Cagliari in the summer of 2023 and made his Primavera debut on 2 September 2023, in a 1-1 home draw against Inter.
First Brace: He scored his first brace on 17 February 2024, leading Cagliari to a 3-2 victory over Torino.
Serie A Debut: Mutandwa made his Serie A debut on 3 March 2024 in an away game against Empoli, contributing significantly to a 1-0 victory.
Throughout the season, Mutandwa has been closely integrated with the first team, showcasing his talent and potential.
